Q: COVID-19 ruined the season, now what?
In the (somewhat likely) event that the season gets canceled mid-way before we select a winner, your $20 will be refunded to you immediately and we'll see ya next year (hopefully!).

Q: The team I picked suddenly canceled their game because 17 of the players tested positive for Coronavirus, now what?
Good for you for monitoring the situation so closely! Make sure you send a new, valid pick in time or it will be counted as a loss.

Q: The team I picked lost. Since it didn't win, can I pick it again later in the season?
A: No. Regardless of how the team does, you only get to choose it once during the regular season.

Q: Once I make a pick, can I change it?
A: Yes, so long as you notify The (Grid)Iron Chef of the change before both your old and new pick kick off.

Q: How do I keep track of who I've picked and how others are doing?
A: You are ultimately accountable for keeping track. You can always check the google doc provided via the weekly update emails to see who you’ve picked. Please note, you’re on your own if The (Grid)Iron Chef hasn’t updated it in time.

Q: Who's going to make sure I remember to make a pick?
A: YOU ARE.
Please note: The (Grid)Iron Chef has ZERO TOLERANCE for those who whine that the dog ate their pick or those who slept through kickoff.
That's why we have The Goofball Compassion Clause in our system: you snooze you don't lose, but you do default to the home team in the final game of the week. And that only happens once. Don't make an example of yourself.

Q: What if I forget to make a pick, so I default to the last game home team, but I've previously picked that team?
A: You double-default to the last game away team. And what if you've already picked that team? You lose for that week . . . and you're an idiot!

Q: What if all of the remaining players pick incorrectly in the same week?
A: Those who had not previously used their mulligan stay to cook another day. Those who had previously used their mulligan are Chopped!
If all of the survivors had previously used their mulligan, leaving no one to continue, then we invoke our tie-breaker rule.
Q: What was that Tie-Breaker Rule, again?
A: In the event that two or more players all go down at the end of the season in the same week, we will break the tie in the following manner:
The player with the highest number of combined wins for each of their remaining teams will take the whole pot.
Q: Wait, but why?
A: First of all, don't question The (Grid)Iron Chef's decisions. But, since it's a newish rule, let me explain. Wait, there is no time, let me sum up...
I prefer to reward some risk-taking behavior. If you end up with a stack of teams that have a pretty great record, that means you're cool and you deserve to win money. So, we'll check out the remaining teams for all remaining players and determine who had the best teams left. That person shall be handsomely rewarded.

Q: What if after Week 17 (the end of the regular season) there’s still no winner?
A: If by some miracle there is more than one survivor once the regular season ends, all remaining survivors continue into the playoffs. If a survivor still has a mulligan to use, that carries forward. Teams, however, will not be reloaded. The weekly picks continue until only one survivor is left.
If, after the Super Bowl, there are still multiple survivors...nevermind. This is never going to happen. But if it does, I have a special, super secret surprise for you incredible players. You'll just have to wait and see...

Q: What if I have a really great suggestion for how to run the league better?
    A: Run your own league!
I'm a very stubborn commissioner that LOVES how I run my league. You can try to make suggestions but it is unlikely to work out for ya.

Now, sit back, relax and buckle your seat belts ... and get ready for a fun and bumpy ride!
